Gawr Gura Quest for Bread 100% checklist

Story file first. Hats by room. Overlay for the eleven. Timer on a different save.

100% Checklist

Gawr Gura: Quest for Bread does not ship a public 100% spreadsheet. Steam app 2054520 launched on 27 August 2026 as a single-player 3D platformer: about two hours of campaign, silly hats, unique bosses, eleven achievements, and a dedicated speedrun mode. English UI. Steam Deck Verified. Steam Cloud between Deck and desktop. This page is the order of jobs, because the names you want are still unpublished.

Do not hat-hunt night one. A story clear through the walkthrough is the first tick. Learn grey rock versus orange magma, save at named doors, mash the pickle line, then credits. Cosmetics wait.

Hats and orbs: describe rooms until names exist

Steam did not print a numbered millinery list at launch. Fill the hat tracker with what you saw, and use the hat guide for method:

  • lava torch pillar
  • Calliope skull (after the bar is dead)
  • torii edge
  • canyon well roof

If a public Steam guide later prints a name, replace the description. Until then the description is the name.

White orbs and hats share grammar: off-path sparkles, pillars the exit does not need, landings you cannot see from the grey line. Treat those sparkles as hat grammar. Do not claim they are the same item without a public table. The lava-fortress sphere at Gura’s feet is a “look later” sign, not proof of type.

Eleven badges, then a timer on a different file

Steam lists 11 achievements. Individual badge names were not published as a searchable table this wiki can quote without guessing. The overlay — Shift+Tab on desktop, the appearance button on Deck — is the source of truth. Map the eleven rows in achievements. Do not invent funny names and then hunt the joke.

Story to credits. Screenshot overlay. Hat sweep on leftovers. Screenshot overlay. Timed file only if a remaining row mentions time. If a row stays locked, read the hidden description in the Steam client, not a rumour.

Dedicated speedrun mode is a separate toy. Runners skip sparkles. The video in the middle of this page is a real full-game-ish speedrun capture. Use it to remember rooms, not as a collect-all route. Copy the skips on a timer file. Copy the opposite here. Demo slice records already skip those sparkles. Do not wreck a 100% save practicing that habit.

Rooms, Cloud, and when to stop

The world page is the atlas. This checklist only needs four headers from public footage.

Lava fortress. Grey rock, orange magma, torch on a taller block, white sphere near Gura’s feet. Clear grey on night one. Mark the pillar for night two.

Calliope concert. Cyan skulls, pink columns, red throne, a bar labelled Mori Calliope. Zero millinery until she is dead, then turn around. Cameo faces live under characters. Not every Myth appearance is a boss. Not every boss is a badge.

Torii dialogue. Wet platform, red gate, pickle line with Amelia and Ina, trident on the floor. Rest room. Still tick the wet edge after you mash.

Starry canyon. Bathtub sky, long falls, a roofed well, coral plants. Magma camera habits do not transfer. Recalibrate in settings if the next landing is off-screen.

The campaign is single-player only. Steam Cloud shares the story file between Deck and desktop if you wait for the tick. Screenshot the overlay beside your tracker rows so Cloud cannot rewrite history. Save-anytime lets you snapshot before a greedy pillar. If Gura walks at idle, that is stick drift, not a missed hat — fix dead zones before you replay lava “just in case.”

When the overlay is full and the tracker rows match rooms you can describe, stop. There is no season pass. The Tools Hub is the index for leftovers: a landing you still cannot see, a badge line that only made sense after credits, or a timer file you have not spoiled with millinery. Until Steam Community prints names, your notes plus Shift+Tab are 100%. Two hours plus hats is the store promise.

Park the wiki when the next jump is already on screen. A checklist that outlives the campaign has failed the bread.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for first-time shark pilots and 100% hunters.

Should I collect hats on the first night?

No. Clear the story with the walkthrough. Tick rooms on lap two in the hat tracker.

How do I 100% the game if hat names are unpublished?

Shift+Tab for the 11 Steam rows. Room descriptions for hats. Do not invent badge or millinery names.

Can I finish 100% inside speedrun mode?

No. Keep a story save. Dedicated speedrun files skip sparkles; the video here is a room reminder, not a collect-all route.
