Hat Tracker

This tracker is empty on purpose. Steam did not publish a numbered millinery list on launch week, and this wiki will not fabricate one. You fill rows with what you saw: “lava torch pillar,” “Calliope walk-out skull,” “torii wet edge,” “canyon well roof.” Pair every tick with the hat guide for method and the hat tier list for whether the jump was S or C.

How to fill a row

  1. Name the stage in your words (lava fortress, concert, torii, canyon, other).
  2. Write the landing you could see — or write “landing hidden” and leave.
  3. Mark first-file skip or second-file grab.
  4. If a public Steam guide later prints a name, replace the description. Until then the description is the name.

Suggested columns (copy into a note)

  • Room: lava / Calliope / torii / canyon / other
  • Landmark: torch, throne, pickle box, well roof
  • Hunt type: S lava greed / A camera / B safe / C dialogue
  • Status: skipped / grabbed / named
  • File: story / leftover

Do not use a speedrun save for this sheet. Demo clips from Graphene (2:43.96) and DiabloFG (2:41) skip sparkles; copy that only on a timer. Copy the opposite here.

Rooms we can actually pre-print as headers

Lava fortress. Grey rock, orange magma, torch on a taller block, white sphere near Gura’s feet. That sphere may be an orb rather than a hat; the grammar is identical. If you jumped it on a first run, tick B. If you died for it, tick S and come back.

Calliope concert. Packed cyan skulls, pink columns, red throne, named bar. Zero ticks until Mori Calliope is dead. Then turn around. Rank the leftover as A in the boss guide’s after-fight sweep.

Torii dialogue. Gura, Amelia, Ina, pickle line, trident on the floor. Tick C after you mash. The walkthrough calls this rest; the tracker still wants a row.

Starry canyon. Bathtub sky, long falls, a little roofed well, coral-coloured plants. Recalibrate camera from magma habits using How to Play. Hidden landing remains S even when the death plane is air instead of lava.

When the sheet is full, open achievements in case a badge cares about looking stupid on purpose, then return to the Tools Hub or the Guides Hub. Two hours plus hats is the store promise. This page is the plus, written by you.

Copy the columns into a paper note if you hate markdown. The wiki cannot tick boxes for you. After each session, screenshot the overlay next to your rows so Steam Cloud cannot gaslight you. If a public name appears, replace the description. Night-one files should have more skips than grabs. Night-two files invert that. Speedrun files stay empty. That three-file split is the completion philosophy of a two-hour game that still sold hats as a headline. When you are done, the Tools Hub is the index.

Session template you can paste

Date. File (story / leftover / timer). Rooms visited. Ticks added. Deaths to S-tier greed. Calliope leftover checked yes/no. Torii leftover checked yes/no. Canyon well checked yes/no. Overlay screenshot taken yes/no.

Five sessions of that beat one night of wandering. The hat guide stays the method. The hat tier list stays the argument. This sheet stays the memory. If you lose the note, you will re-clear lava for a hat you already have. That is how two-hour games still waste a weekend. Do not let it. Then close the tracker and play something else, or open achievements if a badge description now makes sense.

Close this tools hat-tracker tab when the next action is obvious. If the next action is a jump, open How to Play. If it is a hat, open the hat tracker. If it is a named bar, save at the door. If it is a buy button, use Steam app 2054520. The rest of tools hat-tracker is context. Do not reread it instead of playing Quest for Bread. Two hours is already short. A wiki that becomes homework has failed the shark.
