Gawr Gura Quest for Bread Characters and cameos in Quest for Bread

You only play one person in Gawr Gura: Quest for Bread. That person is Gawr Gura: blue hoodie, glowing trident, shark. You are the stranded shark. Everyone else is a guest, a punchline, or a health bar. This page is the roster as public footage and the Steam store actually show it, not a fan rewrite of hololive Myth.

Kenny Park developed the game. holo Indie published it on 27 August 2026 as Steam app 2054520. It is single-player. The interface is English. You do not need stream knowledge to finish; the store says so. Laugh at the line, then jump.

The playable shark

Gura is the whole control scheme. If her portrait HUD sits in the corner with a cyan bar and a yellow bar, you are in her body. Hats you find later sit on her head; they do not turn her into Amelia. First-hour habits live in Getting Started. The campaign line lives in the walkthrough. You do not unlock a second shark.

How the baguette becomes a party

Gura loses a baguette. Amelia Watson, the time-traveling detective in a coat and tie, tries a time-travel fix. The jump fails. Gura is left in unfamiliar territory. It is a Hololive in-joke that still works as a 3D platformer if you have never opened a VOD. Steam is explicit about both the jokes and the lack of homework.

Amelia appears in circulating screenshots: coat, orange tie, standing next to Gura on a wet platform. She is not the player. She is not, in public footage, a named health bar. Treat her as story and dialogue unless a later room prints a bar you can actually fight. If you came hoping to play the detective, the review settles it.

Ninomae Ina’nis: rest, pickle, torii

A captured scene puts Gura, Amelia, and Ninomae Ina’nis together. Ina wears a haloed kimono. The platform is wet. A red torii sits behind them. Gura’s dialogue box asks how anyone knew their pickle was the interdimensional variety. That room is rest, not a boss. Mash the line, look for a cosmetic if you already know the landing, then leave. Palettes and floors belong on world and stages. Dialogue rooms are not bosses. Repeat that when the camera is pretty and you want to swing the trident anyway.

Mori Calliope is a boss

Public footage names one fight in letters you cannot miss. The floor is a concert of cyan skull platforms. Pink light columns occupy the air. A red throne sits on a raised stage. A thin bar at the top is labelled Mori Calliope. Gura’s portrait HUD stays in the corner. That is a boss, not a rest cameo.

Do not hunt hats during that bar. Read the boss guide before you commit a trident string, and rank the night later on the boss tier list. Steam advertised unique bosses in the plural. This wiki will not invent a talent name the footage has not printed.

Five Myth members on the store, four names in the clips

hololive Myth is five people: Gawr Gura, Amelia Watson, Ninomae Ina’nis, Mori Calliope, and Takanashi Kiara. Some Steam locales still advertise “Cameos from all five members of HoloMyth.” Japanese copy still says HoloMyth全員友情出演. That is a store promise.

Circulating screenshots currently name four of those five on screen: Gura as the player, Amelia in coat and tie, Ina on the wet torii, Calliope on the concert health bar. Kiara has not been named in circulating screenshots. This page will not invent her scene, her in-game outfit, or a fake boss bar. Until a clip or a Steam guide prints it, the honest line is: the store promised five Myth cameos; only four are publicly named in footage.

How to read a face

1. If Gura’s HUD is yours, you are playing Gura.
2. If the scene is a dialogue box and a pretty floor, it is rest.
3. If a named bar appears, it is a boss. Save at the door.
4. If a talent is on the store page but not on your screen yet, wait.

Cameos make a two-hour shark game feel like a Myth party, not a combat roster. Stream knowledge is optional. There is no second playable Gura.

A character page is finished when you stop expecting a second playable shark. Gura keeps the hoodie. Guests keep their one-liners or their concert. If a clip names a fifth Myth member on a health bar, update your notes from the clip, not a guess. Until then the trident is yours, the baguette is the excuse, and the people on the wet platform are friends, not exams.
