Gawr Gura Quest for Bread Quest for Bread tier lists
Difficulty rankings for hats and bosses you can actually see.
Tier lists on this wiki rank difficulty, not drip. Quest for Bread does not ship a competitive ladder or a gacha banner. What players argue about after a two-hour clear is which hat jump is greedy and which named bar is the real exam. This hub points at those two arguments and nowhere else.
What we rank
The hat tier list sorts hunt types: safe ledge, camera-hide, lava greed, post-boss. It does not invent forty millinery names. Until Steam guides publish names, you fill the hat tracker with descriptions such as “lava torch pillar.”
The boss tier list sorts encounter types visible in public footage. Mori Calliope currently sits at the top of that conversation because the concert floor is a different skill test from magma rocks. Dialogue scenes with Amelia and Ina are not bosses. The boss guide explains the difference; this hub only maps the ranking pages.
What we refuse to rank
We will not publish a fake character DPS sheet. Combat is simple on purpose. We will not rank “builds.” There is no skill tree. We will not rank codes. There are no codes. If a friend sent you here looking for a Roblox tier list, send them back to the review and the Steam store.
How to use the lists after one clear
- Finish a story file using the walkthrough.
- Open the hat list and mark rooms you bounced off. Hunt with How to Play still in your thumbs.
- Open the boss list after you have died enough to be honest. Calliope’s skulls look easy in a screenshot and less easy when the camera buries the named bar.
- If you only care about a timer, skip both lists and go to speedrun mode. Rankings are for completionists.
The Calliope screenshot that headers this hub is the reminder: a named bar, packed platforms, vertical light, Gura’s portrait still in the corner. That is an exam. Hats wait. Then return to the Guides Hub when you want verbs instead of letters.
Kenny’s launch copy put hats and bosses on the same bullet list as speedrun mode. These two child pages are how the wiki keeps that promise without turning into a fashion blog or a spoiler dump. Update your own ranks in the trackers; the letters here are a starting argument, not a patch. If you only needed one sentence: hats by hunt type, bosses by arena language, nothing else. Child pages hold the letters.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for first-time shark pilots and 100% hunters.
Do hats change damage?
Treat them as cosmetics until the game prints otherwise. Rank hunt difficulty, not DPS.
Is Calliope the hardest boss?
She is the hardest *public* fight in circulating footage. See the boss tier list.
Where do I track names?
The hat tracker is the checklist. This hub only ranks hunt types.
